Madsen sinks 2nd ace in less than two weeks─── MORGAN PIEK 12:27 Wed, 01 Mar 2017
The 2013 South African Open champion, Morten Ørum Madsen of Denmark, scored a hole-in-one on Wednesday morning on the 5th at the Pretoria Golf Club.
The Dane holed the ace during a practice round ahead of the co-sanctioned Tshwane Open which tees off on Thursday morning.
It’s his second hole-in-one in less than two weeks for the player after sinking an ace at the Dimension Data Pro-Am at Fancourt.
It's exactly one day short of two years ago when Madsen scored his first-ever hole-in-one on the European Tour when he holed the par three 8th on the same course during the first round of the 2015 Tshwane Open.
South Africa’s George Coetzee won the title in the capital city two years ago, while Madsen had to settle for a share of 15th on 5 under par.
