This Women’s Month, Hip Hop is Alive will be hosting an event that consists of female entrepreneurs, DJs, and artists to grace the stage at the Trov Rosebank on Sunday (27/8).
This event mostly focuses on hip hop and this month there will be an all-female lineup. Entrepreneurial women are also encouraged to come and sell their products at the event.
There will be a segment in the event where an artist will receive 2 pairs of shoes. They will paint on one and at the end of the year, twelve pairs of shoes will be collected and auctioned off for charity.
“We encourage men to support females in this event, as it shows that they do care,” said event organiser and coordinator, Lizole Joka.

All hip-hop heads are invited to this space where they can listen to their beloved genre in celebration of Women’s Month.
