The singer Ard Matthews has released the official video for his band Just Jinjer's hit song Shallow Waters' 25th anniversary edition. This version features Just Jinjer, Arno Carstens, Francois Van Coke, Karen Zoid, Kurt Darren and Ross Learmonth. 25 years after Shallow Waters became Just Jinjer's first No. 1 hit in South Africa,  five of SA's top iconic voices from that era join to celebrate and pay tribute to this milestone. 

The original version of the hit was released in 1997 on Just Jinjer's album All Comes Round and gained great popularity, playing on every radio station and igniting the rock music lovers in South Africa.  

In 2006, Just Jinger changed the spelling of their name to ‘Just Jinjer’ as some people erroneously pronounced Jinger as ‘Jin-ger’ to rhyme with ‘finger’. They released a new eponymous album in 2006 with this new spelling, consisting of 13 songs, including both new and old material.

Comprising of Ard Matthews (vocals, guitar), Brent Harris (drums, vocals), and Denholm Harding (bass, vocals), Just Jinjer is the biggest-selling rock group in South Africa.

They have sold over a quarter of a million albums and toured with U2, Counting Crows, Live, Goo Goo Dolls, and dozens of other massive artists in just over a decade.
