The body of Thamae was found last weekend in the neighbouring country Lesotho after she was reported missing on Thursday (21/9). Her body was discovered with the help of her husband. However, in a twist of events, the husband was later arrested by the police and detained in Lesotho, awaiting extradition back to South Africa.
