Mangaung Concerned Community to meet with Metro’s Acting Manager | News Article

Members of the Mangaung Concerned Community (MCC) group are expected to meet with the Mangaung Metro's Acting City Manager, Teboho Maine, on Thursday with the hope of sorting out their issues.

A group of MCC representatives had stormed into the metro's headquarters on Monday 5 July 2021, demanding the budget. OFM News had reported that on Monday morning, MCC members had a scuffle with security personnel and forcibly entered the Bram Fischer Building and demanded to meet with Maine.

Mangaung Metro spokesperson, Qondile Khedama, confirmed that the two parties will be meeting today to iron out their concerns. It was also reported that the OFM news team was denied entrance when the incident took place. Meanwhile, the staff and people who were inside the building were told by MCC members to evacuate the building, and no one was allowed to enter at the time of the incident.
