Water interruptions expected in Bloemfontein─── MARVIN NTSANE 14:55 Tue, 12 May 2020

The Mangaung Metro Municipality warns residents in the northern parts of Bloemfontein in the Free State to expect water cuts on Wednesday 13 May 2020.
The municipality's spokesperson, Qondile Khedama, says the cuts will last for a period of a day and a half, commencing from 10:00 in the morning. He says this is due to a major pipe burst at the Maselspoort pipeline.
Khedama says due to these repairs, areas that will be affected include Pentagon Park, Heuwelsig, Bayswater, Arboretum and the surrounding areas.
He does say, however, water tankers will be provided as and when required. He adds that the municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused. He also urges community members to use water sparingly while the matter is being attended to.
