Vaal pastor arrested for contravening #COVID19 regulations─── 17:24 Mon, 11 May 2020

A Pastor and some members of his church in Evaton near Vereeniging have been arrested yesterday for contravention of COVID-19 regulations after they conducted a church service.
The arrest follows after the police received a tip-off from concerned community members.
It is reported that alcohol beverages were confiscated at the church premises.
The 55-year-old pastor allegedly allowed for alcohol to be consumed during and after church services.
Police also found alcohol at the pastor's house, however, he emphasised that it is not for sale.
