NAFU’s Agri Business assists emerging farmers in reaching their goals─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 07:50 Mon, 25 Mar 2019

The National African Farmers' Union (NAFU) is turning vision into value for emerging farmers.
This is through its Agri Business initiative which aims at enabling farmers to articulate their needs on farms through available programs. Chairperson of NAFU in the Free State, Otto Mbangula, says the idea of a Agri Business started in 2012 for its members to enable them to create a network that ensures they produce good products which are delivered to the correct markets while earning money.
Mbangula told OFM News’ Christal-Lize Muller at a stimulus investment summit hosted by the Free State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development last week the initiative has now reached a point where it is succeeding in its goal.
A feedlot and a piggery will be established in the Zastron area.
That was Otto Mbangula, chairperson of Nafu in the Free State.
