Third suspect nabbed for Kuruman farmer's murder | News Article

Kuruman - A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 64-year-old Kuruman farmer.

Christo Kruger was killed on his farm at around 20:00 on May 28. He was shot in the chest through the locked security gate of his house.
 
Kruger and his 55-year-old wife, Vera, were alone at their home at the time. She was physically unharmed during the incident.
 
Northern Cape police spokesperson, Sergio Kock, says Frank Swart is in custody. olice also confiscated a Musgrave 306 rifle.
Twenty-two-year-old Frank Itumeleng and 19-year-old Ben Thabo have already appeared in the same court and will remain in custody until their bail application, this coming Monday.
 
They were arrested last Saturday.
 
Both were former employees of Kruger.
