SA actress Elize Cawood dies─── 13:10 Sat, 18 Jul 2020
The family of renowned South African actress, Elize Cawood has confirmed her passing.
Cawood's daughter, Jenna Dunster took to Facebook on Saturday saying the actress passed away on Saturday morning.
"She was diagnosed with lung cancer in September and fought gracefully until the end," said Dunster.
"She was in no pain when she passed and both me and my father were there with her."
During her career, Cawood won numerous awards and starred in scores of movies and TV series.
In her Facebook post, Jenna Dunster thanks everyone who had loved and supported her mother,
"Our worlds will never be the same without her - but we celebrate the exquisite human being that she was."
Cawood and her husband, Wilson Dunster spoke to JacarandaFM's Scenic Drive with Rian during the Covid-19 lockdown about their many years in the Afrikaans film industry, family, love, and lockdown.
