Just like their South African counterparts, Namibia coach Phil Davies rung the changes for the Test which will be both teams second in Pool B of the World Cup.

The Welshman, Davies, made a total of ten changes to his team which lost to 47-22 to Italy in their tournament opener.

One of the most notable is in the front row with the former Cheetahs hooker, Torsten van Jaarsveld, not being named in the starting XV or on the bench.

Only the captain Tjiuee Uanivi, Cliven Loubser, JC Greyling, Chad Plato, and Johan Tromp retain their places in the run-on side.

The scrumhalf, Eugene Jantjies, will extend his Welwitschias all-time appearances record to 68 Tests.

AJ de Klerk, who played off the bench in all three of his previous Tests, earns his first start for the national side.

Saturday’s Test will be only the second between Namibia and the Springboks at a World Cup. The previous occasion was during the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand. On the day the Boks thumped their neighbours 87-0 in New Plymouth.
