Revellers attending this year’s nine-day long Macufe festival can look forward to a safe event. Festival security manager, Lerato Lengau says an operational plan will be implemented to ensure all goes well. Lengau has however advised visitors to remain vigilant and protect personal belongings. Meawhile, Lengau has appealed to those wishing to attend Macufe to refrain from buying tickets from other people after a syndicate ran riot at last year’s edition.
