“We have to enjoy being here, but knowing it can go wrong because we are close to the most important thing in football is winning a Champions League, but by having the fear this can escape us.”

The Spanish football giants, Real Madrid, will be facing a record-extending 15th UEFA Champions League title on Saturday night when the face Borussia Dortmund in the final that will be played in London.

Madrid are certainly the favourites to win the title at the home of English football, Wembley, however, the German Bundesliga team have enjoyed and outstanding run in the Champions League this season and they will be fired up.

Dortmund themselves will be targeting just their second ever title in the Champions League after claiming the honours in 1996/97 when they beat Juventus 2-1 in the final.

The Los Blancos coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said they are confident heading into the final, but a bit of luck will go a long way.

“A Champions League final is the most important game but also the most dangerous,” said the legendary coach Ancelotti.

“We have to enjoy being here, but knowing it can go wrong because we are close to the most important thing in football is winning a Champions League, but by having the fear this can escape us.

“Things have to go very well, you need to be lucky too, success is very close and so the worry begins tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon.”

Saturday’s nights big Champions League final at Wembley will kick-off at 21:00.
