“This is our first expo since the Covid era, marking a significant milestone as we reconnect the local business community with consumers.”

Kimberley’s first business expo in four years aims to be inclusive, fostering, and an open environment where the entire community can explore the best the City of Diamonds has to offer.

The Northern Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Nocci) will host some 110 Stalls at the event from Thursday (26/9) to Saturday (28/9). Launched in 2016, the initiative not only celebrates the unique offerings of Kimberley but helps build lasting relationships within the community.

“Our goal is to foster meaningful connections between the local business community and consumers, creating a platform that highlights the very best that Kimberley and its surrounding areas have to offer,” said marketing partner Bizguy’s Pieter Gelderblom.

‘Businesses can connect with as many consumers as possible’

“This is our first expo since the Covid era, marking a significant milestone as we reconnect the local business community with consumers.”

Local residents, business owners, and visitors from the surrounding areas are encouraged to attend the free event.

By removing the entrance fee, the organisation aims to encourage better participation and make the event accessible to all, ensuring that businesses can connect with as many consumers as possible.

'Enjoy a diverse selection of food stalls'

In addition to the wide variety of stalls, this year will also showcase the first ever Mr and Miss Business Pageant, hosted by Blue To Events Planners, which will take place on Saturday in the Chapel building.

“This event promises to be a highlight, showcasing the elegance and entrepreneurial spirit of our community. Attendees will also enjoy a diverse selection of food stalls, offering something for every palate,” added Gelderblom

The organisers aim to make the event an annual tradition and aim to keep the event fresh and dynamic while providing ongoing opportunities for businesses to grow, network, and engage with new and loyal customers.
