Parts of Matlosana to experience water interruption─── 06:53 Sun, 12 Nov 2023
Matlosana residents in North West are bracing themselves for a 12-hour water shutdown.
The Klerksdorp based City of Matlosana local municipality has indicated large parts of Jouberton and other areas will be affected by scheduled 12-hours water interruptions.
Municipal spokesperson Ntswaki Makhetha says the interruption is due to the cleaning and disinfection of the Alabama reservoirs. New control valves will also be installed.
Other areas that will be affected include Alabama, Manzilpark, Uraniaville, Hartbeesfontein and Tigane.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly during this period.
