Clivia Club showcases 130 plants at its annual show─── ZENANDE MPAME 06:30 Sat, 16 Sep 2023

“There are different variations of plants people should come and see, they won’t be disappointed.”
An annual Clivia show is hosted at the Fleurdal Mall in Bloemfontein from Friday (15/9) until Sunday (17/9).
Free State Clivia Club members entered their plants into the competition and judging will start on Saturday (16/9).

“Our annual show is a special occasion, and we have about 130 plants on show this year. There are different variations of plants people should come and see, they won’t be disappointed,” said the chairperson of the Clivia Club in Bloemfontein André du Toit.

The plants range from R80 to R1,500 and the members of the Clivia Club have started selling their plants on Friday and will continue selling today as well. No sales will take place on Sunday and they close at 12pm.
Du Toit said there are members of the club around and people can ask for advice on how to take care of their plants.
