A Bloemfontein businessman and tenderpreneur and his son are charged with rape.
The two were arrested this week after the rape allegations of a minor surfaced. Police spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli confirmed two suspects, aged 45 and 26 years old, were recently arrested and will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court.
Kareli said allegations of rape were brought to Bayswater SAPS by the 16-year-old girl. The suspects, who can't be named yet, will appear in courtroom 20A today which mainly deals with rape cases.
They have spent two nights in jail. It's understood the victim was raped at the suspects' home in Bloemfontein this past weekend during a family gathering.
