A teenager arrested for stabbing her father to death in Greenpoint will appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Friday 26 May.
She briefly appeared in court on Monday 15 May and was put under the supervision of her mother until her next court appearance.
“It is alleged that the minor stabbed her 45-year-old father to death on 11 May with a knife after an argument broke out between them,” the police spokesperson Dimakatso Gopane said.
After being arrested, the girl was in police custody until she appeared in court on Monday.
Police investigations are continuing.
