Mangaung police investigate fatal shooting─── 05:20 Mon, 03 Apr 2023
Mangaung police launched a hunt for suspects after a shooting incident in Thaba Nchu that left three men dead and two fighting for their lives at a local hospital on Sunday.
The incident reportedly took place at the entrance of a guesthouse in Govan Mbeki Street at about 02:00.
On arrival, police found three men lying motionless in the back of a white Ford Ranger with gunshot wounds. Two other victims were already admitted to the hospital.
All victims are between the ages of 18 and 23. Several 9mm cartridges were collected as evidence from the scene.
A murder docket has since been opened at the Thaba Nchu Police Station.
