Mothusi says they condemn in the strongest terms possible the murder of women and children.
"As and when we allow law enforcement agencies to do their work, we hope and trust that those guilty will face the full wrath of the law. The ANCYL in the north are ambassadors of a just society, law, and order. We are the champions of morality and ethics," Mothusi adds.
The 34-year-old former Dr Kenneth Kaunda ANC Youth League secretary is alleged to have murdered his wife in November 2022 at his place of residence. Police spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, confirmed that the suspect was arrested on Friday 20 January 2023 and that he will appear in the Orkney Magistrate’s Court on Monday 23 January.
The deceased apparently shared a series of messages speaking about gender-based violence (GBV) before her death.
