Another unidentified body has been found in the Free State, and this time the body of a man was discovered near Tiger River Trust in Thaba 'Nchu.

According to police spokesperson, Peter Kareli, police discovered the burnt body of a man had been placed on top of a sheepskin in an open area near Tiger River Trust.

The police were called to the scene on Tuesday at around 11:40.

“The victim, who is approximately 30-years-old, has a tattoo of a heart under the knee on the left leg. He was not carrying any other form of identification.”

OFM News previously reported that the body of a man was found on Wednesday morning in an open field in the popular street, Second Avenue, in Bloemfontein.

Police spokesperson, Sinah Mpankane, says the police received a call at around 06:40 about a murder in Second Avenue.

Meanwhile, Thaba 'Nchu police opened a case of murder and anyone with information on the next of kin or the suspects is requested to contact Detective Maoke on 060 482 2541, or Crime Line 08600 10111, or leave an anonymous tip on the MySaps App.
