The Free State Premier, Sisi Ntombela, has weighed in on the allegations of continued operations at the Jagersfontein Development Project (JDP).
According to the Premier’s spokesperson, Palesa Chubisi, the company has been given various directives by both the Departments of Water and Sanitation and Environmental Affairs.
She says they must conduct remedial work on the broken silt dam’s wall and rehabilitate the environment.
