Cogta to secure houses for Deelpan families─── 07:08 Sat, 23 Apr 2022
North West premier Bushy Maape has tasked the provincial department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (Cogta), with securing 200 housing units for flood affected families from Deelpan village in Tswaing.
Speaking to OFM News, spokesperson Sello Tatai says Maape has indicated that the provincial disaster management centre will liaise with their national counterparts to extend their services to the province.

North West Cogta MEC Lenah Miga is also expected to meet and consult with the affected families regarding relocation to an identified area.

This, as the area where they currently stay is likely to be affected by floods in the future.
