Police in Mogwase in the North West is offering a reward of up to R50 000 to anyone who will help them arrest the people responsible for the disappearance of eight-year-old Tlotso Mogomotsi Moilwe.

North West police spokesperson, Adéle Myburgh, states that the initial investigation led them to charge a 28-year-old female with kidnapping. She appeared before the Mogwase Magistrate's Court and her next court appearance will be on Thursday, 13 January 2022.

Moilwe was last seen while playing with his friends in Segakwaneng Village near Moruleng outside Rustenburg around 15:00 on Christmas day.

He was wearing a camouflage short, with a black t-shirt and grey slippers.

The search and rescue teams have, without success, been searching for the missing boy since his disappearance.

Meanwhile, the North West Provincial Commissioner, Sello Kwena, requests the public to assist in the search for Moilwe.

The police urges anyone with information to contact the Investigating Officer, Vincent Mzinyathi, on 082 416 3197 or call South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Stop number: 08600 10111.
