An accident on the N1 left one person dead and another critically injured.
Free State Emergency Medical Services (EMS) spokesperson, Sipho Towa, says a bakkie lost control and overturned on the N1 - about 10km north of Winburg to Ventersburg.
He explains that one person, who is critically injured, has been airlifted to receive medical attention, while another was declared dead on the scene.
