Due to load-shedding by Eskom Maluti-A-Phofung (MAP) Water will be unable to pump water when the power is off.
This, as the plant or the pump stations will not be in operation.
Tebogo Kwakwa, MAP Water spokesperson, told OFM News that this will affect water distribution to the Tshiyame, Harrismith, Kestell, and Qwaqwa residents.
She says the affected water treatment plants are Wilge, Sterkfontein, Fika Patso, and Makwane.
She concluded by saying that water will be restored to the residents once electricity is back to normal.
