Eskom confirms it is still hard at work trying to restore power to all areas of Welkom in the Free State.
This, after the collapse of electrical towers left many residents without electricity.
Eskom Spokesperson, Stefanie Jansen van Rensburg, previously said storms in the areas led to the collapse of two towers at the Everest-Welkom Bulk feeder, and that parts of Welkom had to do without electricity since Sunday.
She now confirms they are attending to the problem and that supply to Jurgenhof Mine and Welkom Park has been restored.
She urges residents who still do not have power supply to treat all electrical outlets as live and dangerous.
Jansen van Rensburg, in a statement, adds the power utility apologies for the inconvenience that may have been caused.
