After at least a day of water supply interruptions in the various areas around Qwaqwa in the Free State, Maluti-A-Phofung Water thanked residents for being patient.
According to the spokesperson, Tebogo Kwakwa, the reason for the interruption was that a constructor was repairing a leaking pipe at Phuthaditjhaba Park.
Kwakwa says the affected areas include Mofumahadi Manapo Mopeli Regional Hospital, Phuthaditjhaba, De Bult, Beruit, Clubview, Mphatlalatsane and the University of the Free State’s Qwaqwa campus.
Kwakwa thanked all residents and businesses for their patience.
She, however, confirmed to OFM News yesterday that water is available in the affected areas at the moment.
