Karl Lagerfeld Dies at 85

Hearts are broken around the world over the death of the fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld. On Tuesday, Chanel confirmed its beloved creative director has died at the age of 85. While the cause of his death is unknown at this time, he was absent from the most recent Chanel couture fashion show in Paris last month, sparking a fashion panic concerns over what stopped him from taking his usual well-known bow. Immediately after news went out, colleagues, friends, admirers and fans took to social media to pay modern tribute to the late legend. World known names like Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and supermodel sisters Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid expressed their shock, heartbreak and love for Lagerfeld. My his soul rest in peace. 


Kurt Darren celebrates birthday with His family in Zanzibar. 

Kurt Darren chased after a tan in the sun up in Zanzibar with his family for his birthday. Kurt turned 49 on Tuesday, and he shared a snap on Instagram of himself, his kids and wife Dunay having fun in the picture perfect waters of the island, adding that his wife had planned the getaway especially for him. That’s so sweet…. "My wife spoiled me with a vacation in Zanzibar for my birthday, it was a big surprise and so awesome, thank you my angel!!" he wrote. Dunay also shared a few pics from their holiday on her page. 

Heidi Klum finally Says Goodbye to America's Got Talent

Heidi marked the end of her time with world famous America's Got Talent like a true professional. The reality TV mainstay and super model took to Twitter to pay tribute to the NBC series she called home for six seasons. "I wanted to say THANK YOU and how amazing the past 6 years have been while working on @AGT… I love my fellow judges, our hosts & AMAZING CREW… It's been such an incredible experience and I will miss ALL OF YOU very much! I will be watching and voting from home!" Klum tweeted. NBC announced Klum and Spice Girls singer Mel B would not return for the upcoming season 14. In their places are Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union. Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell are remaining on the panel. Terry Crews, the host of AGT: The Champions, will take over hosting the regular show after Tyra Banks' exit. Banks hosted the series for two seasons. Other hosts over the years include Nick Cannon, Jerry Springer and Regis Philbin.


Diaan Lawrenson shared a sweet 'Paula and Altus' throwback!

Local actress Diaan Lawrenson, whom rose to fame as the pretty blonde Paula van der Lecq on the popular Afrikaans soapie 7de Laan, she decided to take us down memory lane with a sweet throwback picture of her time on the popular show. "Facebook memory- 3 years. This guy and I played on screen boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife for 11 years. That is a long time," she captioned two adorable photos on Instagram of herself with her on-screen husband Altus de Bruyn, played by Heino Schmitt. The Hillside power couple eventually called it quits when Altus had an affair. Both amazing actors joined 7de Laan and soon after the soapie was launched in the year 2000 and being in a long 11-year love affair followed, until Diaan left the soapie in 2016. In the post she also said that she was happy the pair are still friends.
