Ladybrand - The Maseru bridge border post at Ladybrand has been closed for traffic since noon today.
The police say it will be closed indefinitely while South African and Lesotho taxi drivers come to some understanding regarding taxi routes and other issues.
People are able to cross on foot but no vehicles are allowed through the border post.
The police say the situation is calm.
Travellers have been advised to use the Ficksburg border post as an alternative.
