Support OFM’s #PinkTober in aid of CANSA Venue: Central South Africa

This October, OFM’s #PinkTober campaign aims to raise awareness of and support for those affected by breast cancer. Join our drive to raise R300 000 for the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) during this month.

The number one type of cancer reported among South African women is breast cancer. Approximately 19.4 million women aged 15 years and older live at-risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s important for women to be empowered with knowledge regarding lowering their cancer and health risks and recognising warning signs.

Each Wednesday, OFM will dedicate our programming to breast cancer awareness to offer encouragement to those living with the disease as well as share valuable information regarding prevention and support to those affected. We’ll also update you on our #PinkTober fundraising drive for CANSA, which you can support by donating here:

Telegram ‘pinkpledge’ to 084 222 9497 and follow the prompts. Let's see how much funds we can raise for CANSA this October!

You can also show your solidarity by dressing in pink and sharing your photos on social media with #OFMPinkTober on Wednesdays.

Plus, each week in October, OFM and Round Table Southern Africa will host fun corporate bowls evenings:

  • 5 October – Bloemfontein (SOLD OUT)
  • 12 October – Welkom (SOLD OUT)
  • 19 October – Klerksdorp (SOLD OUT)
  • 27 October – Hartswater

The Bowling for Boobies events will start at 17:00 and conclude at 21:00. Eats, treats and beats, as well as limited edition pink #bakkiearm and CANSA socks will be provided. There will be loads of prizes as well, so make sure you don’t miss out! Come have a fun evening for a good cause along with the OFM team.

Download the Bowling4Boobies logo here to use on your team gear.

Book your team of four (4) players for a donation of R2 000 per team, here.

Apart from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women of all races, with a lifetime risk of 1 in 27 in South Africa, according to the 2019 National Cancer Registry (NCR).
