First time two different couples nominated for the awards respectively
It’s always great to receive news of your favorite celebrity couples making a big impact on screen and racking up those nominations while they at it. History is being made as for the first time on record, two different couples were all nominated for acting Oscars.
According to NowThis happily married couple Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem must be smiling like crazy as they were nominated in the Best Actress and Best Actor categories, for ‘Parallel Mothers’ and ‘Being the Ricardos’. Another couple that caught the attention of the awards is engaged couple Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst whom were nominated for the same film, Jane Campion’s ‘The Power of the Dog,’ in the Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress categories.
