Five die in KZN bus crash─── 08:42 Sun, 12 Aug 2018
Four adults and a child have died and dozens have been left injured following a bus crash on the road between Malmoth and Empangeni, Kwazulu-Natal Emergency Services said on Saturday.
"The bus was travelling from JHB to Empangeni when it overturned," said the service’s spokesperson, Robert MacKenzie.
A critically injured person was airlifted to hospital.
Thirty-three injured were treated on the scene and a number taken to hospital via private vehicles before paramedics arrived on the scene.
The bus had 60 passengers when it crashed.
The cause of the accident remains the subject of an investigation.
