Two house robbery suspects who remain in custody are expected to make a court appearance in the Odendaalsrus Magistrates Court on Monday (14/10).
Two suspects, Paseka Jack (34), and Teboho Mohase (39), linked to a house robbery in Odendaalsrus, were subsequently arrested for possession of suspected stolen property by the police on Saturday (5/10).
“The suspects were wanted after it was reported that unknown males forcefully entered a place of residence before pointing the victim with a firearm, tied him up, and took most of his belongings,” said Captain Stephen Thakeng in a statement.
‘Members tactically approached the house where they found two suspects’
The police received information about the two gentlemen spotted at a house in K9 Section, Kutloanong. After soliciting help from the Welkom Anti-Gang Unit, members from Visible Policing in Odendaalsrus immediately operationalised the information.
Members then tactically approached the house in the K9 Section, where they found two suspects in possession of a hot plate stove, a desktop keyboard, a desktop monitor, and two speakers that were reported as stolen during a house robbery.
The suspects appeared in the Odendaalsrus Magistrates Court on (7/10) and the case was postponed to Monday, (14/10) for further investigations.
