The South African Police Service (SAPS) has been applauded for its quick response in arresting two suspects who could possibly be linked to the Lismor farm murders outside Kestell.
Free State premier, Sisi Ntombela, reportedly stated that the swift arrest demonstrates the capacity of the law enforcement agencies.
Furthermore, Ntombela stated that she hopes the suspects will get the harshest punishment once they have been convicted.

"I was pleased to learn that provincial police commissioner, Baile Motswenyane, has directed SAPS’s best detectives to bring the killers to book.
"This is a worrying trend because these killings seem to be on the rise,” said Ntombela.
The two suspects are expected to appear in the Kestell Magistrate's Court on Monday.
They face charges of murder, armed robbery and the unlawful possession of firearms.
