The ultimate power, precision, and performance-based equestrian sport. Where the horse and rider engage in thirteen different pattered races containing unique obstacles that need to be approached with speed and precision. The thirteen games are based on the American Gymkhana Events. Horse and rider compete throughout the year in shows that are termed "Qualifiers" as they place the horse and rider combination within the rankings in South Africa to qualify for the National Championships. The horses used for this sport can be of any breed or height, but they need to have specialized qualities. The horse needs to have speed, be exceptionally responsive to the rider's aids, be extremely agile, and of a sound mind.
