“My advice for the past or the Treble or the double or these kind of things is why are we not focused on Chelsea? It’s enough of a target to think about.”

The focus will be on Wembley this weekend with it being the FA Cup semi-finals.

On Saturday night the defending champions, Manchester City, will face the West London club, Chelsea.

City will want to use the disappointment of their UEFA Champions League exit to fuel their pursuit for a domestic double.

The City boss, Pep Guardiola, said while their Champions Leagues defence came to an end on Wednesday night, securing a spot in the FA Cup final is enough motivation for his team.

“My advice for the past or the Treble or the double or these kind of things is why are we not focused on Chelsea? It’s enough of a target to think about.

“Maybe when you are one or two games away from the Premier League or in the final of the FA Cup.

“But Chelsea, we felt two times how strong they are with the weapons up front and Cole Palmer has been the decisive player, maybe of the season, and they are really difficult.

“We know the situation. Win that game, see what happens in three, four or five games in the Premier League and after that we will see.”

This game at the iconic football ground kicks off at 18:15 on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, Coventry City will look to make another big statement when they face Manchester United in the second semi-final.

This game at Wembley kicks off at 16:30.
