One hundred title deeds, newly built houses, and serviced sites will be handed over to beneficiaries by the Human Settlements Minister in Parys and Deneysville on Tuesday (16/4).

Once the Deneysville Refengkhotso Housing Project is finished, 2,614 units are anticipated to be completed and these homes will be given to beneficiaries.

Handing over homes with Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi will be Deputy Minister Pamela Tshwete, and Free State MEC of Cogta and Human Settlements Ketso Makume.

The day will conclude with a community imbizo where the 100 title deeds will be handed over to the beneficiaries of the new homes, known as RDP homes.

The handing over of the title deeds forms part of the Title Deeds Restoration Programme that was launched last year. This is a developing story.
