"Every case is important, why can't everyone enjoy democracy"

What was it like taking over the reins from the previous public protector amidst the uproar after the release of the state of capture report?

"It's been a bumpy ride, I focused my energy in building the team. They are very experienced"

What is the latest on that report?

"The responding affidavit will be released soon"

You were quoted as saying that you are concerned about the public’s lack of trust in the office of the public protector, how are you going to regain that trust?

"That is why the roadshow is very important. Speak to me face-to-face. There are certain elements of mistrust from the public"

In our region a big story that comes to mind is the Vrede Dairy farm, will you be investigating?

"The report is being drafted and it is important for me to go there myself and see what is going on"

What in the first 6 months of being the public protector what has been the most stressful part of your job?

"The media sensationalism is a challenge and I am not necessarily being portrayed as the person that I am" 

"I am giving my life to save South Africans, I am fair and will be making sure that every South African's life is changed"
