Khuli Chana shaken after shooting incident─── 16:22 Mon, 28 Oct 2013
Award-winning rapper Khuli Chana is very shaken and is recovering at home after being shot at in his car by police officers in an unmarked vehicle.
The hip-hop star was on his way to a gig overnight in Pretoria when he stopped at a garage in Midrand to meet up with his DJ.
According to his manager Refiloe Ramogase, his vehicle was shot at up to six times, as he was pulling out. He was only slightly hurt.
Police have since confirmed they'd mistaken Chana's luxury sedan for that of a kidnapper who was being tracked.
Ramogase says Chana is now considering filing both criminal and civil charges against the police.
