Body of teen pulled from NW quarry─── MARK STEENBOK 11:34 Tue, 14 Mar 2017

Mahikeng - The police in North West have opened an inquest after police divers retrieved the body of a 16-year-old boy from a quarry near Mahikeng.
Police spokesperson, Sabata Mokgwabone, says according to information the boy and three of his friends were playing near the quarry located at the Lekoko Village late on Sunday when he fell into the water. He says his friends then ran home and notified the teenager's parents of the incident. Mokgwabone says rescue divers found the body of the boy early yesterday morning.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
