Two killed in Jacobsdal school bus crash─── 15:37 Tue, 16 Feb 2016

Jacobsdal - Two people have been killed and 24 others injured this afternoon after a school bus, light motor vehicle and SUV collided on the R705, 50km outside of Kimberley.
On arrival, ER24 paramedics found a Hoër Landbouskool Jacobsdal bus lying on its side. A wrecked BMW and SUV lay in pieces across the entire scene. Paramedics found the body of a Grade 11 boy inside the bus. A body of a man in his 30's was found trapped inside the BMW. ER24's Russel Meiring says one adult and some 20 children sustained moderate injuries.
Headmaster Henco Gericke told OFM News from the scene that two buses were on their way to Kimberley for a tug of war competition when the accident happened.
Gericke says the BMW collided with the bus after which a Toyota Condor crashed with the other two vehicles. Gericke says they're devastated.
Names have not been released yet.
