Bloemfontein - After two weeks of hard work, first year students from the University of the Free State escorted the Rag floats from Pelonomi Hospital to Twin City Mall in Heidedal, yesterday morning.
The community joined in the procession, with excited children running alongside the floats, which were depicting favourite cartoon characters. The students assisted in distributing thousands of food parcels.
Rag ended at the Old Greys Sports Grounds with entertainment by the likes of Vusi Mahlasela, Karen Zoid, and Francois van Coke.
