Another Free State family in Matjhabeng has been displaced after a fire destroyed their house.
The provincial police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, confirmed to OFM News that a house burned down in Glen Harmony Way in Virginia on Sunday. He says the police could not register a case after they were informed that the fire was allegedly caused by a five-year-old child.

The Matjhabeng Municipality has recently been under scrutiny for the absence of an operating firefighting fleet, following the escalating number of fires in the area. A man has reportedly burned to death in a shack, while a hall and trucks in the area were also destroyed by fire.
