Bloemfontein - The principal of a Bloemfontein school under investigation for alleged racism, has become the second person to be suspended pending an investigation into the matter. Free State education department spokesperson, Howard Ndaba said this after a Grade Seven history and life orientation teacher at the Wilgehof Primary School was suspended yesterday for displaying an old South African flag along with a picture of expelled ANCYL leader Julius Malema alongside that of a monkey on his classroom wall. The teacher also allegedly made racist remarks to some of the learners. Free State education MEC Tate Makgoe said a decision on the pair's futures at the school will be made after the investigation. The department said a task team has been formed to investigate another alleged racism case at another Free State school.
