Happy Sindane murder accused back in court─── 05:48 Fri, 10 May 2013
Durban - The man accused of killing Happy Sindane will be back in the KwaMhlanga Magistrate's Court today. Last month, Khuano Mthimunye was granted bail of R10 000. Sindane's body was found in Tweefontein, near KwaMhlanga, on April 1. Police said he appeared to have been stoned to death. The Star reported that shortly before Sindane was killed, he fought with another man over a bottle of brandy at a Tweefontein tavern. The 29-year old Sindane made headlines in 2003 when he claimed to be a white boy who had been kidnapped by black people. After a four-month inquiry to establish his identity, a court found that Sindane's real name was Abbey Mzayiya, and that he had a black mother and white father. The whereabouts of his parents are not known.
