Bloemfontein - A Bloemfontein Primary School has come second in a national Astronomy Quiz held in Pretoria.
Brebner Primary won the provincial round by beating 200 other Free State schools to qualify for the national leg of the competition.
Headmaster, Des Donald says the competition aims to inculcate in learners a love for natural science and technology - careers much needed in the country.
Kimberley Junior came third.
