Arlington - Free State roads and transport MEC Butana Komphela says his department will this week pay outstanding monies to road construction companies.
Komphela was speaking at Arlington in the Nketoana municipality where the provincial government was launching the Hlasela programme to enhance service delivery.
He says most of the road construction works in the province will be completed this year while some roads will be opened next year.
Komphela says the 32 provincial roads under construction were reduced to 12.
