Proteas captain Graeme Smith was present at the birth of his first child after wife Morgan Deane gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Smith left the Proteas tour of the UK on Monday to be with his wife for the birth and will rejoin the squad before the start of the second Test on August 2. Graeme Smith confirmed the birth via Twitter and was congratulated by Cricket South Africa and some of his teammates.
