“I love playoff games and this is a very important one, not just for me, but for every single player in the team it's a massive one.”

The Sharks will look to become the first-ever South African team to reach the final of the EPCR Challenge Cup final on Saturday.

On Saturday the Sharks will tackle Clermont of France in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup and they will play this historic game in London.

Clermont eliminated their Cheetahs in the round of 16, while the team from Bloemfontein was the only side to beat the Sharks in the competition.

The Sharks winger and former Blitzboks speedster, Werner Kok, said this is one of his biggest games and they are quietly confident heading into the game against the French Top14 giants.

“This one is definitely up there, and I think my biggest game in the 15-man code was a Currie Cup game, but this is massive,” said Kok, who scored a hat-trick against the Scarlets in the URC last week.

“I love playoff games and this is a very important one, not just for me, but for every single player in the team it's a massive one.

“Then for the Sharks and in general for KZN it's a good one to set up for the final if we come through this one, but I'm sure we will.”

Saturday afternoon’s semi-final at the Twickenham Stoop kicks off at 13:30. The second semi-finals will be played between Gloucester of England and Benetton of Italy. This match at Kingsholm kicks off at 16:00.

Meanwhile, the Champions Cup semi-finals will be contested between Leinster and the Northampton Saints in Dublin, and Toulouse and the Harlequins in France.
